Doors open 7.00pm. Meetings begin 7.30pm.
Meetings in Ipswich usually scheduled for the third Wednesday of the month.
Occasional joint society meetings in Norwich held on Mondays.
Meetings begin at 7.30pm unless otherwise stated.

      21st June 2017: The Pamela Sadler Trophy awarded for the best exhibit. To enter bring a display of numismatic objects (maximum 5 items) with placards or other visual explication recommended. First Prize = £25 and possession of the trophy for the duration of the year.
     
               
      19th July 2017: Joint Society Meeting with the Norwich Coin & Medal Society, to be held in Ipswich at The Golden Hind. 10 minute talks. rrtt    
               
      20th September 2017: A talk by Alan Gidney of the Norwich Society: "Roman Emperors Who Visited Britain During Their Careers"      
               
      18th October 2017: A talk by Roger Barrett of the Essex Society: "Essex Coin Hoards".

Please note:- Postal bidding is not possible. All transactions must be completed in cash on the night and we cannot post items, therefore you must either attend in person, or get someone who is attending to bid on your behalf.
     
               
      (Monday) 18th December 2017 Norwich Coin & Medal Society Christmas Auction & Raffle, to be held at The White Horse Inn, The Street, Trowse, Norwich, Norfolk, NR14 8ST      
     
     
               
      17th January 2018: The Ipswich Numismatic Society Challenge Shield, annual quiz. Questions to be set by the 2017 winner.      
               
      21st February 2018: A talk by John Sadler: "Edward the Confessor Sovereign Eagles Type, Rare, But Why So Rare in East Anglia?"      
               
      21st March 2018: A talk by Bob Thomas of the Essex Society: "Colonel E.E. Gee CBE DSO MC and American Legion of Merit"
Last day to submit lots for the April Auction.
     
               
      18th April 2018: Society Auction.
